Sick in bed

 Mum, I’m just too tired for school today,

I want to stay in bed.
It’s too cold outside of the blankets,
I’d rather stay home with Ted.

Mum, my head is sore.
Do I feel hot?
I can’t stop coughing,
Ewww! Look at my purple snot!

The girl and the Giraffe

 I was as tall as a bus but the girl had to let go of the me. I was too big to live with her. It was heartbreaking. It felt like my heart was made of crystal and was dropping on a rock. I was very sad and I was happy I could be with my family. It was a very sad day for her too. My tears fell like the rain and I cried a river of tears.
